I’M BACK AGAIN WITH ANOTHER NEWSLETTER YAY : D Got some shop updates and Beneath the Woods project updates in this one!

Mailing club is now open! 🌟
I finally launched my mailing club!! : D My goal is to release 12 new illustrations this year to create a tarot card deck print series inspired by my novel. I love tarot cards a lot and tarot’s symbolism has had a big impact on the motifs and symbols in my story, so it’s been really fun to create these card designs! This month’s print and sticker set features Max, who’s the main character of my novel, and his card is The Star! 🌟
The Star represents hope, faith, and renewal, signifying strength to continue pressing on ahead with your journey. Max faces these feelings as he proceeds down his path, but, due to the watchful (and even eager) eyes gazing upon the boy, it could be assumed that the hope in question isn’t necessarily for him. That Max’s desire to find answers was the spark that brought the light back to someone else.

I FINISHED MY ILLUSTRATED NOVEL TEST YIPPEE LOL. I was planning on finishing this by the end of the month, but it’s already surprisingly done so yay!! : D
I’m creating an illustrated novel version of Beneath the Woods, which currently includes a lot of codes and extra elements (like a soundtrack) but I’m aiming to also have an ARG down the line. So far, I’ve illustrated the prologue of my story, as a way to figure out my workflow for this project and see if people enjoy it.
This project is meant to be a way to bridge creating a novel with creating a webcomic, allowing me to get more of the story out faster by writing as a novel while allowing me to draw as much as I want to without burning myself out. Burning myself out was a BIG issue for the webcomic, so I think this has been a great compromise so far to still include visuals while prioritizing writing over drawing.
The prologue is now available for early access on Patreon for $5+ Patrons, but will be released soon on both Webtoons and Tapas. If you’d like to read the pages early, you can find them over here!

Shop Updates (posting preorder leftovers + shop hiatus) 👁️
Now that all of the charms have shipped out, I’m working on updating my inventory prior to posting the preorder leftovers on my shop. I plan on having this up in early March, but I will let you guys know when extras will be available!
As a head’s up, I will not be able to have character sets like I did with the preorders, as I have an uneven amount of each charm. But otherwise, I have a decent amount leftover so yay! : D
In the near future, I also want to send out a shop survey to help me figure out the direction of my shop moving forward. I’m thinking of switching to a stationary-focused shop instead cause I LOVEEEEE stationary, but I would love to include some fandom-inspired stuff alongside the original designs that I have. I want to focus on resuming novel updates and sticking with the mailing club consistently first before I add anything else in, so this will be something I do in the next few months?
